KATHMANDU, February 26 – Nepal will host the first round of women’s football qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Nepal is placed in Group C of the tournament along with Afghanistan and Vietnam, according to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
The first round of matches will take place at the Tripureshwor-based Dasharath Stadium from April 3-11. A total of 26 teams participating in the first round have been divided into seven groups. Earlier, as part of their preparation for the qualifiers, Nepal played two friendly matches against India.
