KATHMANDU, February 24: The four political parties namely Congress of Nepal, CPN (Maosit Center), CPN (United Socialist) and Janata Samajbadi Party have reached an agreement on the presidential election and the distribution power.
It has been learned that the Nepalese Congress is likely to get the post of president, while the Janata Samajbadi Party is likely to get the post of vice president. Likewise, the CPN (Maoist Center) will head the government for four years and the CPN (Unified Socialist) will head it for one year.
These parties also agreed to revive the then ruling alliance formed before the general election.
The leaders of these political parties are scheduled to meet again tonight at 5:00 p.m. to make a final decision on the upcoming presidential elections and power-sharing.
