Feb.22 – Paris St-Germain says Brazil striker Neymar “twisted his ankle” and suffered “some ligament damage”.
The 31-year-old was injured in the second half of his team’s win against Lille at the weekend and was carried off on a stretcher.
PSG added that Neymar “will undergo further tests early next week.”
The French champions will try to overcome a 1-0 deficit against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on March 8.
Neymar has scored 18 goals and registered 17 assists for PSG this season, with two goals and three assists in the Champions League.
