You can’t expect to become a heroine by doing a small comedy role in a film because you are branded as a small role’.

You need that break that your important role in the film and it becomes a hit. This never happened to me in films, but it happened on TV. I had a strong role in Badhaai Ho and it became a success, things changed. After this suddenly I have become a very good actress. My market value increased. This is a business. If your market value is good, you will get lead roles’.
