KATHMANDU, February 10: Traffic in the Kathmandu Valley was hit hard as President Bidya Devi Bhandari went to address the Federal Parliament. When the road from the president’s office to the parliament building was closed for President Bhandari’s trip, the road became chaotic.
Along with Kathmandu, a long line of vehicles has been seen as far as Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. It has also become difficult to find public vehicles for ordinary people in a hurry to return home.
Speaker Bidya Devi Bhandari addressed the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly. President Bhandari addressed the joint meeting of both houses of the federal parliament in accordance with Clause (2) of Article 95 of the Constitution of Nepal.
