Kathmandu, January 30
Nearly 53 percent of applicants failed the country’s medical license test taken last weekend.
Nepal Medical Council, the regulatory agency for medical professionals, says 2,311 applicants had attended tests held as of Sunday. But, only 1,091 people passed through, according to the council’s registrar, Dr. Krishna Adhikari.
Although 1,220 failed, 10 were absent.
Among MBBS graduates, the pass rate is 47.11 percent, while among BDS graduates it is 47.6 percent.
In the test held in September 2022, almost 58 percent of applicants it has failed the doctors license test.
