Kanye West is the named suspect in an assault investigation after a heated exchange with a photographer that escalated to the point that Ye grabbed and threw the woman’s phone.
Watch the video, Ye is clearly upset, accusing the woman of following him, as she continues recording.
The woman exclaims, “You’re a celebrity!” but that’s enough for Ye, who grabs and throws the woman’s phone into the street.
He then gets into his SUV where his wife, White Censoriis waiting patiently.
A law enforcement source tells us Kanye is the named suspect in an assault investigation, Ventura County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. and provided video evidence of the incident.
It is currently unclear if the woman is a professional photographer or was simply taking videos of Ye as a citizen.
It should be noted… everything happened near a sports center where northwest I had a basketball game scheduled.
As we reported, Ye and Bianca they were seen shopping in a Balenciaga store earlier this week, the same brand that cut ties with Kanye after his anti-Semitic comments.
