The weather forecast division has requested to take necessary precautions as morning mist/fog may occur in some places of Terai and may have a general impact on daily life.
The Division has issued a notice for the next 24 hours and has requested to take necessary precautions and vigilance as there is a possibility that the heavy fog may have a general impact on daily life, health, road and air traffic.
At present, the country is under partial influence of the western low pressure system. Due to the effect of this weather system, the weather is generally clear in Gandaki province and partial to normal in Madhes province, Bagmati province and Lumbini province.
In the afternoon, there will be partial to normal change in Province 1, Madhes Province and Bagmati Province and partial change in Gandaki Province, and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the region. According to the department, the same type of weather system will continue during the night as well. Today, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu is 6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 22 degrees Celsius.
