Manchester City 4-2 Tottenham Hotspur
Well a crazy turn of events! City were booed off the pitch by their own fans at half-time before conceding two late first-half goals.
The man of the match was Riyad Mahrez. He scored two goals and assisted in two other goals. He was key in City’s attack all night, what a great performance.
Spurs showed moments of class, but too few to be seriously in contention. Arsenal are at the top of the table but Tottenham are slowly slipping away from the top four.
It really was a game of two halves, Conte’s men fought back and did well but Guardiola’s gameplan eventually paid off in a stunning second half comeback.
The top of that Premier League table is now a bit more tenuous for the Gunners, as Man City close within five points of them. There is now daylight between City and Manchester United and that will make Pep feel a little better about his chances of making a run at the title.
As for Tottenham, they are in danger of falling behind Newcastle, letting fourth place slip away from their grasp along with a Champions League berth.
