the singer Lisa Marie PresleyThe only daughter of the late Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, died Thursday hours after being hospitalized for a heart attack, her mother said.
She was 54 years old.

“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” Priscilla Presley said in a statement provided to CNN by a representative. “They are deeply grateful for everyone’s support, love and prayers, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Lisa Marie Presley was taken to the hospital earlier in the day, her mother said Instagram.
“Please keep him and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy at this time,” his statement said.
TMZ Thursday was the first to report the news of Lisa Marie Presley’s hospitalization.
LA County Fire Department spokeswoman Caitlin Aldana told CNN that emergency responders were dispatched to the 5000 block of Normandy Dr. in Agoura Hills, California at 10:37 a.m. local time for a heart attack. Aldana did not confirm the name of the patient, who could not be identified due to privacy laws, but said the patient was taken to a local hospital at 11:17 p.m.
An LA County Sheriff’s spokesperson told CNN that they assisted fire officials with a medical call this morning, but would not confirm the name of the patient.
Lisa Marie Presley was recently spotted at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday night, where she attended with her mother to support the Baz Luhrmann film about her late father, “Elvis.”
In 2020, Lisa Marie Presley’s son Benjamin Keough died by suicide at the age of 27. Last July, she celebrated the second anniversary of Keough’s death. InstagramSharing a photo of their matching leg tattoos.
Lisa Marie Presley was previously married to Michael Lockwood, Nicolas Cage, Michael Jackson and Danny Keough. In addition to her late son, she was the mother of actresses Riley Keough, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivian Ann Lockwood.
In September, Lisa Marie Presley wrote one Essay for National Bereavement Awareness Day, in which she opened up about the loss of her son.
“My life and that of my three daughters as we knew it was completely exploded and destroyed by his death. We live on this every. single. day,” he wrote. “Grief is something that you have to carry with you for the rest of your life, despite what some people or our culture would have us believe. You don’t ‘get over it’, you don’t ‘move on’ period.
Lisa Marie Presley also said in the essay that she finds comfort in the company of people who have faced similar tragedies, adding that her daughters help her keep going.
“I go for my girls,” she wrote. “I go because my son made it clear in his last moments that caring for his little sisters and looking out for them was at the forefront of his mind and his concern. He loved them completely and they him.
