Vivek Agnihotri On Air India Flight Incident: Recently, a passenger of Air India had urinated on a co-passenger in an inebriated state in a shameful act on a flight from New York to Delhi. The accused was later arrested in Bengaluru. On the other hand, a few hours before the arrest, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had tweeted about this incident on Friday. He had reacted to a tweet by a journalist.
Vivek Agnihotri wrote that law is equal for all.
Reacting to the journalist’s comment, Vivek, who directed one of last year’s highest-grossing films, The Kashmir Files, tweeted, “Law is equal for all. Be it Arfa or Rajdeep. This media (vulture media, according to you) who discriminates. I am sure if this was a mine, you would have called him a victim by now. Please think and reflect.” The journalist’s tweet read, “The very drunk businessman who was found urinating on a co-passenger in the plane is Shekhar Mishra. What if his name was Khan? Guess who will be driving the chariot of outrage on prime time and social media? Mishra or Khan.” , the law should be equal for all as should be the response. Agree?

Sanjay Mishra of Mumbai has been accused of urinating on an elderly passenger in the New York-Delhi flight on 26 November. Apart from venting her anger against the man, the elderly woman also allegedly accused the Air India staff of being ‘unprofessional’ in her complaint. At the same time, according to news agency PTI, the Bengaluru Police helped the Delhi Police in arresting the accused Shankar Mishra from Sanjay Nagar area of the city, where he was staying with his sister. The arrest comes a day after he was fired by Wells Fargo, his California-headquartered employer.
