Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that people’s representatives should serve the people with honesty.
He clarified that public service is mandatory for politicians to keep their heads upright. The former Prime Minister of Nepal pointed out that there is a need for integrity and honesty in politics.
At the inauguration program of the 26th foundation day of Bhaktapur district branch of the Nepal Journalist Association today, he said, ‘The formation and collapse of alliances for positions should be condemned.
He said that the people have great faith in journalists and journalism and emphasized that journalists should be fully accountable and committed to the country and the people in order not to lose the public’s trust in journalism.
