The foreign rights of ‘Jai Ho’ were sold for 60 lakhs while the filming was going on

The foreign rights of the film ‘Jai Ho’, which is currently being shot in Pokhara, has been sold at a high price. Namaste Entertainment has bought the foreign rights of the film for 60 lakhs. Now those who want to release the film outside Nepal will have to make an agreement with Dev Karki of Namaste Entertainment. This company had previously bought the Australian rights of films like ‘Chakka Panja 4’, ‘Dui Nambari’, ‘Aama’.

The producer got a big relief when the foreign rights of the film were sold at a high price during the shooting phase. It is known that the digital rights of the film have also been well received. Along with overseas, it is seen that more than half of the investment of ‘Jai Ho’ will be secured through digital rights. After filming in Pokhara for the next 2/3 days, the production unit is leaving for Mustang for the rest of the filming.

Directed by Tek Pourkhi Rai, ‘Jai Ho’ features Arpan Thapa, Salon Basnet, Keki Adhikari, Nisha Adhikari, Maotse Gurung, Prem Pandey, Deepa Shamika Shrestha, Subi Magar, Sumin Gurung along with Rohit Rumba in the guest cast. Banish Shah is responsible for editing this film, which is directed by Samrat Basnet and choreographed by Kaviraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane.

Written by Suresh Neupane, the film has Saurav Lama’s cinematography, Shambhujit Baskota and Sagar Ale Magar’s music. The film, which is a combination of comedy, action and love story, is scheduled to be screened on the 8th of Bhadra. Produced under the banner of Salon Salina Films, the presenter of the film is Shovit Basnet, while the producers are Raj K Adhikari and Suraj Sarkar.
