The sense of security understood by working in ‘Bahav’: Suraksha Pant

Suraksha Pant, who is considered to be adept in acting, will release the film ‘Bahav’ from this 24th of Chaitra. In the film, she has played the character of a rebel. In the trailer, security is seen communicating with a caged parrot. She became close to parrot during the workshop and shooting of the film for two months in the same house in Chitwan. Pet parrot became her closed friend.

‘I spent two months with Parrot, however, when we called animals, we were kind of running away and ignoring them.However, my experience with the parrot was a bit different’, Suraksha says, ‘I opened the door of the cage but the parrot did not come out. He was confused and also afraid. Although he understood our language, he was sensible. Animals have unique qualities. The story of the film also matches Parrot in some ways.’

In the trailer, there is a conversation between the security guard and Parrot, ‘Don’t you want to fly in the open sky?’ She got the answer from her closeness with Parrot. She says, ‘Even though a bird likes to fly, it has a kind of fear of falling in flight. She is not even sure of her destination. That’s why he is enjoying himself inside the cage.’ Suraksha likes to call herself the other parrot in the film. 

Presented by Swarnim Entertainment and Young Star Cinema, the film is written and directed by Pramod Kandel. Produced by Sridhar Paudel, the film also stars Kamal Mani Nepal, Afran Ali, Surya Sharma Bhatt, Ishwari Singh, Hiralal Kandel, Pawan Shrestha and others. Cinematography by Kartikeya Smitha Karnataka, the film has music by Suraksha’s husband Manav Subedi and Basant Sapkota.
