Kathmandu, March 21: Nepal’s football governing body, the Nepal National Football Association (ANFA), has announced the final squad for the Prime Minister’s Tri-Nation Cup.
The tournament involving Bhutan and Laos begins on Wednesday at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
On the eve of the first match, Nepal new coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese announced his first squad.
According to the announcement, seven players have joined the national team for the first time for the Prime Minister’s Tri-Nations Cup to replace the vacancy left by Nepali footballers migrating abroad. They are goalkeeper Abhishek Baral, defenders Sanish Shrestha and Padam Bhattarai, midfielders Mani Kumar Lama and Navin Lama, and attackers Sumit Shrestha and Deepak Singh Thakuri.
