Swastima has taken the place of Barsha in ‘Pashupati Prasad 2’?

The film ‘Pashupati Prasad’, which was released 7 years ago, was not only commercially successful, but from its plot to its characters, it has remained in the minds of the audience. The characters of Pashupati Prasad (Khagendra Lamichhane), Bhashme Don (Vipin Karki), Bunu (Barsha Siwakoti), Hanuman (Ravindra Singh Baniyan) were the backbone of the film. Now the character-centric sequel of this film is being made, ‘Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhashme Don’.

In the sequel, Bipin Karki, Saugat Malla, Swastima Khadka, Ravindra Singh Baniyan will play the lead roles. There was no Barsha in the film till the production announcement. She herself said that she was upset that she was not in the film. However, she also participated in the film’s muhurat on Friday. In other words, she has entered the film. However, the production team called Barsha the ‘surprise’ of the film.
Talking to the media on the occasion of the film, Barsha said that she was ‘surprised’ about her role.  I am happy to be associated with Pashupati Prasad’s family, directly or indirectly. Barsha and Khagendra will be seen as a couple in the sequel, says a source.

After entering Swastima in ‘Pashupati Prasad 2’, it was commented that she took the place of Barsha. However, she does not accept this. At the Muhurta ceremony, she said, ‘I am not going to the place of Barsha. It seems that there is a good ‘surprise’ of Barsha in the film. If I had done Bunu’s character, I would have replaced it. There will be someone else in ‘Pashupati Prasad 3′ tomorrow. You can’t say you took my place.’

Saying that she also liked Barsha’s character in ‘Pashupati Prasad’, Swastima also praised her for proving herself in the short ‘Screen Presents’. “It is a big thing for an artist to be known in a short period of time rather than being known from the film ‘Full Flamed’. And, it is the beauty of an artist to be able to prove herself from there, which was done by Barsha,’ said Swastima.
