Kathmandu, March 13
Prasun Jung Pokhrel, a Nepali child singer, has been awarded the World Rising Star 2023 recently at an event held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
A ninth grade student from Bright Future High School in Kathmandu’s Naikap also won the national dress title at the event.
Pariwartan Event House had sent Pokhrel to Georgia after he won DSA Star, a national event in Nepal. He was put to compete with participants from 42 countries there.
Meanwhile, outgoing president Bidya Devi Bhandari congratulated Pokhrel at an event held at Sheetal Niwas on Saturday.
