The first song of the debut film ‘Jari’ directed by poet Upendra Subba, which is going to be released on the 1st of Baisakh, has been released. After the public trailer on YouTube received positive response on Friday, the production team released the romantic theme song of the film with the lyrics ‘Chari Basyo’ on Saturday. The song has lyrics, music and vocals by Kali Prasad Baskota.
In the video of the song, the love and banter between the film’s lead actor Dayahang Rai and actress Miruna Magar is presented. Roydeep Shrestha, Rekha Limbu, Prem Subba, Bijay Baral, Anil Subba, Pushkar Gurung, Kamalmani Nepal, Upasangba Nembang, Sitakumari Tumbapo, Panthak Thule and others are also acting in the film based on the ongoing practice of Limbu tradition.
Rambabu Gurung is the producer of the film, written by director Upendra Subba and based on the concept of Suresh Nyong Limbu. The film has cinematography by Shailendra Di Karki and editing by Nimesh Shrestha. The film also has music by Jhuma Limbu and Ganga Thapa and is co-produced by Srijana Ningleku, Manorath Pokharel, Albin Limbu, Peter Gurung, Devyani Rai and Kshitij Limbu.
