Nepal sets target of 241 runs for UAE in ICC Men’s League-2 ODI series

KATHMANDU, March 12 – Nepal set a target of 241 runs for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in an ODI match of the ICC Men’s World Cup Cricket League-2 triangle series.

Nepal chose to bat first and scored 248 runs in 49.2 overs, with captain Rohit Kumar Poudel scoring 77 runs. Aashif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Aire and Bhim Sarki also contributed 43, 34 and 29 runs respectively.

Nepal’s victory in the match would secure their ODI qualification and World Cup position.
