‘Prema’ couple painted in Holi colors (with photos)

Today is the festival of colors i.e. Holi (Fagu Purnima). Every year this festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm on the full moon day of February. This festival is celebrated by exchanging colors and joys with each other. Holi, which has special religious, cultural and social significance, is being celebrated today in the hilly districts, while in the Terai districts it is being celebrated tomorrow i.e. Tuesday.

Artists have not been able to stay away from the joy of Holi. Today, many people are celebrating Holi with their family and friends, while some people are enjoying Holi by participating in public events. The main hero Arun Chhetri and heroine Shubeksha Khadka of the film ‘Prema’, which is about to be released on Chaitra 17, are also dressed in the color of Holi.

In the pictures taken at the UN Park in Thapathali on Saturday as part of the film’s promotional campaign, they are sometimes seen wearing different colors to each other and sometimes they are presented in romantic avatars. Their couple looks great. Director and producer Gobind Singh Bhandari said that the photoshoot was done because Holi will also play an important role in the promotion of the film.

The film, which was shot in Kathmandu, Dhangadhi and Karnali, features Srishti Shrestha, Vimala KC, Nizhwala Gautam, Puran Joshi, Sabin Bastola, Roshni Syangbo, Prakash Basnet, Mahan Thapa, Surendra Bassel, Viviana Thapalia (Kaju) in addition to Arun and Shubeksha. The film is executive produced by Samarthvikram Thapa and is produced by director Bhandari and Vivek Ghimire.

The film has music by Sushant Gautam, lyrics by Sushant, Sabin Ektare and Anil Sharma, chief assistant direction by Chandra Bhattarai, background score and 5.1 mixing by Amit Shrestha, editing by Krishna Bhandari and DOP by Mahesh Paudel. Based on a triangular love story, the film is being distributed by GGA Group in Kathmandu Valley and FD Company outside the valley.
