PM pays tribute to CPN (United Socialist) leader Upadhyaya

KATHMANDU, March 6: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has paid tribute to Saroj Kumar Upadhyaya, leader of the CPN (Socialist Unity). Prime Minister Dahal today visited the party’s head office, Aloknagar, and paid tribute to the late leader.

Upadhyaya, the younger brother of party chairman and former Nepalese Prime Minister Madhav Kumar, has died after falling from a restaurant in Sankhamul in an apparent case of suicide.

He fell from the six-story building on Saturday afternoon.

The Prime Minister expressed his sincere condolences to the leader of Nepal and to the entire bereaved family.

The mortal remains of the late leader were kept today at the party headquarters for the last tributes.
