ICC World Cup League-2: Nepal defeats PNG

KATHMANDU, March 3 – Nepal defeated Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the ODI triangle series under the ICC League-2 World Cup on Friday by 3 wickets.

Chasing the target of 180 runs given by PNG at the Dubai International Cricket Ground, Nepal scored 182 runs losing 7 wickets in 48 overs.

Earlier, PNG, who won the toss and batted first, scored 179 runs and lost all wickets in 49 overs.

With the win, Nepal sits sixth in the table with 30 points from 31 League-2 matches, while PNG is seventh in the table with 7 points from 31 matches.
