73,000 foreign tourists visit Nepal in February

KATHMANDU, March 1: In the past month, there has been an increase in the number of foreign tourists visiting Nepal, with 73,000 visitors in February compared to 55,000 in January. In total, 128,000 foreign tourists have visited Nepal so far this year.

Of these visitors in February, the largest number of 18,401 came from India, followed by 7,887 from the United States of America, 4,802 from Thailand and 4,345 from the United Kingdom.

Also, 3,246 of them were from South Korea, 2,969 from Australia, 2,266 from China, 2,232 from Myanmar, 2,175 from Sri Lanka and 2,108 from Germany.
