Clash between Paudel and Nemwang for the safe presidency

KATHMANDU, February 25: In the presidential elections, there will be a confrontation between the CPN UML and the alliance of eight parties, including the Congress. With the CPN-UML also deciding to present a candidate for the presidency, it is certain that there will be a clash between the two parties.

With the help of the eight-party alliance, Congress has decided to nominate top leader Ramchandra Paudel. Spokesman Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat reported that the Congress Working Committee meeting held on Saturday morning unanimously decided to make Paudel the presidential candidate.

Similarly, the UML secretariat meeting held today decided to put forward Subas Chandra Nemwang as a candidate. Leader Surendra Pandey reported that the meeting decided to nominate Nemwang.

Along with this, both will arrive today at the parliament building in New Baneshwar and register their candidacy.

The presidential election will take place on March 9.
