Six arrested for setting fire to police van, vandalizing temporary office and traffic island in Balaju

KATHMANDU, February 15: Police have arrested six people accused of setting fire to and vandalizing police vans, temporary offices and traffic islands in Balaju and made them public on Wednesday.
According to SSP Dhan Bahadur Karki of the Kathmandu District Police Office, those arrested were among those who held protests in Balaju on Monday.
Those arrested have been identified as Bikram Rai from Udayapur, Ram Hari Bhandari from Nuwakot, Bibek Shrestha from Lamjung, Rajesh Tamang from Kavre, Dipendra Pun Magar from Pyuthan and Ashish Khadka from Kavre. They have been temporarily living in Kathmandu.
The police are investigating the case according to the law.
In addition, the police are also questioning another 10 people who could be involved in the case.
