Kathmandu CDO set aside time to listen to customer complaints

5 January, Kathmandu. The chief district officer of Kathmandu, Ghanshyam Upadhyay, has set aside one hour daily to listen to the complaints of the service users.

“Consumers are complaining outside about the administration’s actions, but we don’t know about it,” Upadhyay told Online News. Upadhyay said that it is expected to make the service delivery of the administration more efficient.

According to him, it has been decided to provide service to women over 65 years old, disabled and women with children without queuing. Upadhyaya said that if any of the beneficiaries are over 75 years of age, they will be provided with helpers.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane also inspected the District Administration Office, Kathmandu on Thursday, the day the time card was implemented in the administration. He has instructed Prajia Upadhyaya to work so that the citizens do not suffer.
